Conversion done with
	checkpatch --fix-inplace -types UNSPECIFIED_INT

Ignore the cast as they could be better addressed.
Fix only minor additional checkpatch issue (spacing and line
length).

Use Checkpatch-ignore below for the function pointers in the file
'armv7a_cache_l2x.h' that do not assign the identifier names to
the function arguments.
Most of these struct are unused and should be fixed or dropped.

any target type would not need to change type-independant state of a

Tomas Vanek a5108240f9 target: fix messages and return values of failed op because not halted
Lot of messages was logged as LOG_WARNING, but the operation failed
immediately. Sometimes no error message was logged at all.
Add missing messages, change warnings to errors.

Sometimes ERROR_TARGET_INVALID was returned. Some command handlers
returned ERROR_OK! Always return ERROR_TARGET_NOT_HALTED.

While on it use LOG_TARGET_ERROR() whenever possible.
Prefix command_print() message with 'Error:' to get closer
to LOG_TARGET_ERROR() variant.

Error message was not added to get() and set() methods of
struct xxx_reg_type - the return value is properly checked and a message
is logged by the caller in case of ERROR_TARGET_NOT_HALTED.

Koudai Iwahori d0436b0cda armv8: Add support of pointer authentication
When pointer authentication is enabled, some upper bits of the link
register (LR[63:VA_SIZE]) are used to store a signature. Therefore, GDB
need to remove the signature to get backtraces.
GDB has support of pointer authentication. When pointer authenticaion is
enabled, GDB requests 8-bytes mask to the target to remove the
signature. mask[63:VA_SIZE] should be all set and mask[VA_SIZE-1:0]
should be all cleared. GDB removes the signature by addr&~mask or
addr|mask.
I added a feature to provide the mask for pointer authentication.

Antonio Borneo 28c24a5c41 openocd: fix simple cases of Yoda condition
There are ~900 Yoda conditions to be aligned to the coding style.
For recurrent Yoda conditions it's preferable using a trivial
script in order to minimize the review effort.
E.g. comparison of uppercase macro/enum with lowercase variable:
	- ...(ERROR_OK == retval)...
	+ ...(retval == ERROR_OK)...

Patch generated automatically with the command:
	sed -i \
	's/(\([A-Z][A-Z0-9_]*\) \([=!]=\) \([a-z][a-z0-9_]*\))/(\3 \2 \1)/g' \
	$(find src/ -type f)

While there, remove the braces {} around a single statement block
to prevent warning from checkpatch.

Antonio Borneo 15dd48119a target/aarch64: fix watchpoint management
The early documentation for armv8a report the debug register WFAR
as containing the address of the instruction that triggered the
watchpoint. More recent documentation report the register EDWAR as
containing the data memory address that triggered the watchpoint.

The name of macros CPUV8_DBG_WFAR0 and CPUV8_DBG_WFAR1 is not
correct as they point to the debug register EDWAR, so reading such
register returns directly the data memory address that triggered
the watchpoint. The code incorrectly passes this address value to
the function armv8_dpm_report_wfar(); this function is supposed to
adjust the PC value, decrementing it to remove the effects of the
CPU pipeline. This pipeline offset, that has no meaning on the
value in EDWAR, caused commit 651b861d5d ("target/aarch64: Add
watchpoint support") to add back the offset while comparing the
address with the watchpoint enabled.

The upper 32 bits of EDWAR are not valid in aarch32 mode and have
to be ignored.

Rename CPUV8_DBG_WFAR0/1 as CPUV8_DBG_EDWAR0/1.
Remove the function armv8_dpm_report_wfar().
Remove the offset while searching the matching watchpoint.
Ignore the upper 32 bits of EDWAR in aarch32 mode.
Fix a comment and the LOG text.

Antonio Borneo 3799eded67 target/aarch64: add support for multi-architecture gdb
GDB can be built for multi-architecture through the command
	./configure --enable-targets=all && make
Such multi-architecture GDB requires the target's architecture to
be selected either manually by the user through the GDB command
"set architecture" or automatically by the target description sent
by the remote target (i.e. OpenOCD).

Commit e65acd889c ("gdb_server: add
support for architecture element") already provides the required
infrastructure to support multi-architecture gdb.

aarch64-linux-gnu-gdb 8.2 uses "aarch64" as default architecture,
but also supports the value "aarch64:ilp32" and all the values
supported by arm-none-eabi-gdb.
These values can be displayed on arm gdb prompt by typing
"set architecture " followed by a TAB for autocompletion.

Set the gdb architecture value for aarch64 target to "aarch64".
