From 6f607de5d590ff2fbe8798b04e5924be3b7ca0b4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Felix Lange Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2018 11:47:24 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] p2p, p2p/discover: add signed ENR generation (#17753) This PR adds enode.LocalNode and integrates it into the p2p subsystem. This new object is the keeper of the local node record. For now, a new version of the record is produced every time the client restarts. We'll make it smarter to avoid that in the future. There are a couple of other changes in this commit: discovery now waits for all of its goroutines at shutdown and the p2p server now closes the node database after discovery has shut down. This fixes a leveldb crash in tests. p2p server startup is faster because it doesn't need to wait for the external IP query anymore. --- cmd/bootnode/main.go | 11 +- node/node_test.go | 8 +- p2p/dial.go | 7 +- p2p/dial_test.go | 16 +-- p2p/discover/table.go | 41 +++--- p2p/discover/table_test.go | 10 +- p2p/discover/table_util_test.go | 25 +++- p2p/discover/udp.go | 92 ++++++------ p2p/discover/udp_test.go | 11 +- p2p/discv5/udp.go | 3 +- p2p/enode/localnode.go | 246 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ p2p/enode/localnode_test.go | 76 ++++++++++ p2p/enode/node.go | 7 + p2p/enode/nodedb.go | 124 +++++++++++----- p2p/enode/nodedb_test.go | 4 +- p2p/enr/enr.go | 2 +- p2p/enr/enr_test.go | 12 ++ p2p/nat/nat.go | 18 +-- p2p/nat/nat_test.go | 2 +- p2p/netutil/iptrack.go | 130 +++++++++++++++++ p2p/netutil/iptrack_test.go | 138 ++++++++++++++++++ p2p/protocol.go | 10 +- p2p/server.go | 238 +++++++++++++++--------------- p2p/server_test.go | 26 ++-- 24 files changed, 979 insertions(+), 278 deletions(-) create mode 100644 p2p/enode/localnode.go create mode 100644 p2p/enode/localnode_test.go create mode 100644 p2p/netutil/iptrack.go create mode 100644 p2p/netutil/iptrack_test.go diff --git a/cmd/bootnode/main.go b/cmd/bootnode/main.go index 8459008652..346523ddb6 100644 --- a/cmd/bootnode/main.go +++ b/cmd/bootnode/main.go @@ -119,16 +119,17 @@ func main() { } if *runv5 { -
